I had a good time in school today.

I had a good time in school today. I did a lot of things. I did math, science, social studies, daily activity, reading, grammar and writing.  In grammar and writing I learned how to write cursive. We had a lot of fun. We had a really good time in science. We have been learning about different Biomes. The one we studied today was water areas. There are swamps, lakes, rivers, oceans. Alligators live in swamps and some rivers.
I hope to do an experiment in science soon. I like doing experiments.

Kindergarten!

 

 

I'm Livia and I started Kindergarten. On the first day of school I drew that picture. It's a picture of me. I have blonde hair, and greenish, bluish eyes. I colored myself wearing the pink dress that I was wearing.
I've been practicing writing my name (Livia) and Aaron, Ashton, Ella, Mom, Dad, and Preston's name. That's all in my family.
I think school is fun.

First Day of school

The first day of school was really, really fun. I just started third grade. We have been learning about Ecology in Science.  We chose to study about aquatic biomes while studying ecology.
In Grammar we have started to learn how to write in cursive. We do three letters a day. So far we have done A, B,C,D,E,F,G,H, and I. It is fun learning how to write cursive.
We have been learning about the different holidays in Social Studies, and why we celebrate them.

The first day of school!

Today was the first day of school. I learned lots.  I am in sixth grade this year.  For Spelling I had my Spelling pre-test.  For Reading I'm reading the Magician's Nephew.  For Grammar I learned about anagrams, and I started writing a story about what I did this summer.  For Math I practiced saying long numbers, and I did book work.  For Social Studies I learned about the Civil War, and in Science I started learning Chemistry.  I had a fun first day of school.
