In Social Studies we are learning about the 50 states. Here are some pictures of what we've done.
This is the folder we keep everything in.
We do the states in regions. In this region the states are Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.

In this region the states are Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.
In this region the states are Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida
This is what they look like put together.
I can't wait to finish all the states!

cold blooded and warm blooded

You can't read this worksheet, but this is what my paper was about.....
reptiles are cold blooded
mammals are warm blooded
cold blooded means that the body temperature changes with the outside temperature.
Warm blooded means the body temperature stays the same.
I am warm blooded.

An Old Fashioned girl

I am reading a book called An Old Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott. My wonderful Grandma told me to read it. I LOVE it so far. It is about a girl named Polly, who lives in the country. She goes and spends the winter with her cousin Fanny in Paris.  Fanny is all about the latest fashions, and Polly teaches her to be not so fancy and how to be a kid again.

Here is a picture of the cover. You should read this book.
 (it is free on Kindle)

Home made butter!

We are making butter in these pictures.  We put whipping cream in a jar. Then we shook the jar for a while.  It turned into butter! We ate bread and butter for lunch.  Then we had pancakes with the buttermilk that was left over from the butter.
It  was  good!
