I had a good time in school today.

I had a good time in school today. I did a lot of things. I did math, science, social studies, daily activity, reading, grammar and writing.  In grammar and writing I learned how to write cursive. We had a lot of fun. We had a really good time in science. We have been learning about different Biomes. The one we studied today was water areas. There are swamps, lakes, rivers, oceans. Alligators live in swamps and some rivers.
I hope to do an experiment in science soon. I like doing experiments.

Kindergarten!

 

 

I'm Livia and I started Kindergarten. On the first day of school I drew that picture. It's a picture of me. I have blonde hair, and greenish, bluish eyes. I colored myself wearing the pink dress that I was wearing.
I've been practicing writing my name (Livia) and Aaron, Ashton, Ella, Mom, Dad, and Preston's name. That's all in my family.
I think school is fun.

First Day of school

The first day of school was really, really fun. I just started third grade. We have been learning about Ecology in Science.  We chose to study about aquatic biomes while studying ecology.
In Grammar we have started to learn how to write in cursive. We do three letters a day. So far we have done A, B,C,D,E,F,G,H, and I. It is fun learning how to write cursive.
We have been learning about the different holidays in Social Studies, and why we celebrate them.

The first day of school!

Today was the first day of school. I learned lots.  I am in sixth grade this year.  For Spelling I had my Spelling pre-test.  For Reading I'm reading the Magician's Nephew.  For Grammar I learned about anagrams, and I started writing a story about what I did this summer.  For Math I practiced saying long numbers, and I did book work.  For Social Studies I learned about the Civil War, and in Science I started learning Chemistry.  I had a fun first day of school.

What is a good neighbor?

What is  a good  neighbor?  A  good  neighbor  shares. Our neighbor let us ride their four wheeler. They let us borrow their tractor. They invited us to dinner. They let us pet their dog.


I can be a good neighbor too.  I can clean a park. I have picked up a persons trash can when it blew over. One time I picked up toilet paper that was all over a neighbors yard.  I can be a good neighbor.

A neighbor is someone who lives next to you or in your community . This is what I think  makes a good neighbor:  a good neighbor  shares its things. For example, our neighbor let our dad borrow  their tractor .

I can be a good neighbor by bringing treats to people's houses .We can be good neighbors by helping our community.

A Good Neighbor

          A neighbor is a person who lives by you in the same community.  A good neighbor is nice, and helpful.

          Neighbors do many things for us.  My neighbors are very nice.  They let us borrow things, like their tractor so we could move a trailer.  They invited us to dinner so we could get to know them, and they took us on a 4-wheeler ride and let us drive it.  I like my neighbors.

          We should try to be good neighbors so they think we are nice too.  We could help clean the community so it's a nice place to live.  We could pick up trash-cans when they fall down from the wind, and we should keep our yarn nice.  Also, we should not be outside  after 9:00 so we are not loud while people are trying to sleep.

          I hope that I can always be a good neighbor and that my neighbors will think that I am a nice person.
